āAfter graduating from Emory University in 2014, I came up to UGA to continue working in biomedical research and to figure out what I wanted to do. About 7 years of work and one Masterās degree later, I am finally going to be graduating with my PhD in Neuroscience from UGA (go dawgs) this next Spring! I havenāt completely decided if Iām going to be a career nerd/professor or jump ship for biomedical industry, but I will stay in the field of brain cancer research for sure. No clue yet where job hunting will take me next but my boyfriend and our two dogs are very excited to help me decide.ā āĀ Meghan Logun
Hereās how to participate in our photo project, Humans of Walton 2010:
Find a photo of yourself from senior year AND a photo of yourself now. Feel free to pick photos with or without families, partners, pets, plants, photos of you in your work attire etc. Just make it wholesome please lol
Come up with a few sentences (or a paragraph) of a life update. Where are you now? What are you up to? Feel free to include a Walton memory if you like, but no pressure.
Then attach the photos in an email and send them over toĀ walton2010reunion@gmail.comĀ with your first and last name in the subject box!
ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS ON A ROLLING BASIS!
Weāll be sharing these on ourĀ Facebook pageĀ and on this newsletter as they come in and hope it gives us all a chance to hear from each other and connect after all these years.
As always, if anyoneās interested in being part of reunion programming and planning, shoot us an email atĀ walton2010reunion@gmail.comĀ letting us know what you think you could help out with. Things are obviously hectic and up in the air right now, but your input is welcome.
