Humans of Walton 2010: Ilana Gang
This Dawg has a new home in Wisconsin! 🧀
"After graduating from Walton, I attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), where I earned a BBA and master’s degree in accounting. I was also a member of the Redcoat Marching Band and Sigma Delta Tau Sorority. After college, I moved back to Atlanta, where I lived with two other Walton Class of 2010 grads (shout out to Katie Wilkes (Worch) and Jennifer Fine!), and I worked as an Auditor at both KPMG and Carter’s. I have traveled with family and friends, including trips to China, Norway, Denmark (to visit Stine Glem!), Israel, Ireland, and Hawaii and have picked back up playing tennis in my free time! I currently live in Midtown with my boyfriend, Yonatan; however, this summer we are moving to Madison, WI where Yonatan will be a Professor at UW-Madison, and I will be in the Financial Reporting Controls group at American Family Insurance. I am looking forward to this new adventure, but I will miss Atlanta and all my friends!" — Ilana Gang
Here’s how to participate in our photo project, Humans of Walton 2010:
Find a photo of yourself from senior year AND a photo of yourself now. Feel free to pick photos with or without families, partners, pets, plants, photos of you in your work attire etc. Just make it wholesome please lol
Come up with a few sentences (or a paragraph) of a life update. Where are you now? What are you up to? Feel free to include a Walton memory if you like, but no pressure.
Then attach the photos in an email and send them over to walton2010reunion@gmail.com with your first and last name in the subject box!
ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS ON A ROLLING BASIS!
We’ll be sharing these on our Facebook page and on this newsletter as they come in and hope it gives us all a chance to hear from each other and connect after all these years.
As always, if anyone’s interested in being part of reunion programming and planning, shoot us an email at walton2010reunion@gmail.com letting us know what you think you could help out with. Things are obviously hectic and up in the air right now, but your input is welcome.
