“After graduating from Georgia State, I moved on a whim to New York City for an internship with the Clinton Foundation. That internship turned into a job and I ended up living in Manhattan for three years! I have called Washington, D.C., home since 2017 and recently started a new job with the American Heart Association leading media advocacy for the organization's federal work (p.s. Does anyone else remember Jump Rope for Heart in elementary school or is it just me?) Pre-pandemic, you could usually find me on a plane or train to somewhere new. I'm now working to revive my goal to make it to all 50 states. If you ever find yourself in the nation's capital, please reach out! There is nothing I love more than playing tour guide.” — Arielle Beer
Here’s how to participate in our photo project, Humans of Walton 2010:
Find a photo of yourself from senior year AND a photo of yourself now. Feel free to pick photos with or without families, partners, pets, plants, photos of you in your work attire etc. Just make it wholesome please lol
Come up with a few sentences (or a paragraph) of a life update. Where are you now? What are you up to? Feel free to include a Walton memory if you like, but no pressure.
Then attach the photos in an email and send them over to walton2010reunion@gmail.com with your first and last name in the subject box!
ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS ON A ROLLING BASIS!
We’ll be sharing these on our Facebook page and on this newsletter as they come in and hope it gives us all a chance to hear from each other and connect after all these years.
As always, if anyone’s interested in being part of reunion programming and planning, shoot us an email at walton2010reunion@gmail.com letting us know what you think you could help out with. We’re currently planning for a late summer 2022 reunion :)
